When it makes sense to you that a child constantly exposed to sexual trauma may (and hopefully will) dissociate, you are as ready as you may ever be to absorb the ramifications of the messages included on this page.

The world of pedophilia is ugly. If we don't see the larger societal picture, this reviled segment will continue to flourish.

Pedophile Tactics

Do not view children as human beings which is why there is no second thought to perpetrating harm.
Wear masks or costumes of characters known to children from movies or television. Children will report "Batman" did bad touches.
Wear scary monster and demonic masks to include bizarre environmental paraphernalia and settings which tend to ensure unbelievability when a child remembers.
Threaten child with death of parent, pet or other if they tell about the touching.
Repeatedly call the abuse by the name of a game or other activity. Young child will say "I was playing 'checkers' with the man next door."
Tell the child what a bad thing they just did...and how parents (or other parent) will hate him/her or be angry with the child if the touching becomes known.
Organized pedophiles will "prowl" using a reserve of license plates that will show up as lost or stolen on police records.
For pedophiles well trained in using dissociation to their advantage, trauma is the OBJECTIVE. It is not the by-product. Trauma ensures the child/adult remains dissociated.
For dissociated adult victims who begin to heal and who were drawn into the sex ring at a young age, great resources are dedicated to keep her in a state of fear in hopes of stopping her from pursuing any avenues of further healing.
Organized pedophiles have access to very sophisticated technology apparently unknown to law enforcement and wireless providers (i.e. intercept emails and text messages from a trusted person, change the message to a threat, and send them on to the victim). In trying to report such violations of privacy, it adds another element of unbelievability.
Organized pedophiles can/will change home computer settings and establish a remote connection to monitor all victim activity and communication. (i.e. Adult dissociated victim opens door to the perp in a child state. While she is being *hurt*, another works on the technological aspects of surveillance. When the adult "returns", she will have no knowledge of the attack or changes made to her environment.)
Organized pedophiles will stalk a victim or have others who are part of the sex ring stalk the victim as a constant reminder they are being watched.
Organized pedophiles use some type of technology to always know the exact location of the victim or other target of harrassment. (One relays location information while another knows exactly when to walk, bike, or drive by to frighten the victim.)
Organized pedophiles with an adult dissociated victim will go to extremes to maintain their "asset".
Remember that police officers and others you may turn to for help may be part of an organized pedophile group. This ensures some reports never go further than the officer on duty or the victim may be punished for having told
